We will give a brief summary of results developed over the last few years for reducibility of parabolically induced from discrete series representations for p-adic groups. In particular, we focus on the transfer of knowledge of R-groups for quasi-split forms to inner forms in the case of classical groups. Moreover we discuss the cases where we can prove the isomorphism of the Knapp-Stein R-groups and Arthur R-groups.
