Abstract:
I will explain how to generlaize Hausel's formula for the number of rational points of Nakajima quiver varieties over finite fields to a formula in a suitable localization of the Grothendieck ring of varieties. The main difficulty here is the generalization of the arithmetic harmonic analysis in his proof, which is done by unsing Grothendieck rings with exponentials, an idea coming from motivic integration.
