MathEd Forum: March 30, 2019
Mathematics Outside of the Classroom
Description
The objective of the forum is for invited presenters, who are undergraduate and graduate students, high school teachers, and university instructors, to showcase the initiatives they or their institution are running to support students and educators with mathematics outside of the classroom. Hopefully the presented activities and events will motivate others at the forum to adopt similar endeavours or to create new ones at their institution. This is a great opportunity to share and celebrate the wonderful initiatives, as well as to create meaningful conversations amongst the forum attendees about the amazing work done beyond teaching mathematics in a classroom.
